Emergency Procedure

If you need to report an emergency to us such as injured or escaped livestock or damaged infrastructure please follow this procedure:

  1. Call the office on 01256 381190.
  2. If no one answers, wait for the answering message which will detail the name and mobile number of the member of staff who is currently on call.
  3. Phone the on-call member of staff who will then respond accordingly.

NOTES:

  • Please do not phone a member of staff directly unless you know they are on-call.

  • If you are unsure if a particular situation qualifies as an emergency then please phone the on-call member of staff anyway so that they can make the decision on how to proceed.

  • Most importantly of all – please do not report injuries or sick animals via the blog alone – always call the emergency on-call contact.

    Lunchtime today, eventually found Teasel and Cronus in C6 taking sweeet chestnuts and Clever Clogs in B5 browsing bramble.  All look really well.  Trough OK too.

    Saturday morning

    Found Teasel and 067 well and celebrating England's win in Japan this morning. Couldn't find 075. They were on the edge of the thick bushes so suspect he was in there. Had a look around but couldn't see him.

    Miserable weather but the cows weren't phased. All looking well and water fine

    All not far from the trough this morning - sweet chestnuts seem to be on the menu.  All fit and well.  Trough OK.

    Found the cattle in M13 this afternoon, all three being loud as usual! All looking fit and well and trough ok too.

    All found next to the trough on a very wet afternoon.

    Met up with Alan tosort out that tree and  pop in a couple posts. Thanks again for that Alan. All sorted!

    Animals looking thier usual, fine, selves. No apparent injuries or marks to see Antoni so must have been mud or minor  wound.
