Used my daily outing allowance to walk this way today and did see the cows all looking fine (didn't approach to inspect), and water too fine too.
Emergency Procedure
If you need to report an emergency to us such as injured or escaped livestock or damaged infrastructure please follow this procedure:
NOTES:
Thank you!
- Call the office on 01256 381190.
- If no one answers, wait for the answering message which will detail the name and mobile number of the member of staff who is currently on call.
- Phone the on-call member of staff who will then respond accordingly.
NOTES:
- Please do not phone a member of staff directly unless you know they are on-call.
- If you are unsure if a particular situation qualifies as an emergency then please phone the on-call member of staff anyway so that they can make the decision on how to proceed.
- Most importantly of all – please do not report injuries or sick animals via the blog alone – always call the emergency on-call contact.
Thank you!

All found next to the bridge car park and looking good. Have sprayed them for ticks as well.

Tuesday 24th March.
Found all three in I9 at lunchtime. #67 was lazily browsing while the other two were laying down cudding in the sunshine.
All looking good as usual.

Friday afternoon
Found the 3 practicing very responsible social distancing today, all about 30-40 apart but making a lot of noise. Other than that they seemed very well. Water good too.

A Note About The Fencing/Gate Installation Along Bramshot Lane.
Hi All,
Just to allay any fears/concerns about the installation of the fencing and large gate on the eastern boundary of the site:
While I don't have any recent confirmed information from MOD, I did hear of potential plans to install this fencing many months ago.
I don't believe the MOD will be restricting access (not something they do usually). It will just be a measure to tighten up security along that boundary - the woodland on the opposite side of the road is going to be a SANG as part of the Hartland Village development. Installation of security fencing/gates like this will encourage residents to use the SANG rather than venture out onto the MOD land where they could disrupt training activities.
Regards
Rich.

Wednesday 18th March.
Found the three together in I5 this afternoon. There was the usual excitement when the noticed a member of staff but soon settled down when they realised I didn't have a vehicle full of treats with me! All three looking fit and well.
Trough full and working.

Like Alan yesterday, I took a walk to recover from illness and did a lap of the field and checked the trough. Unfortunately NO CATTLE! Not sure what they were up to but suspect they were simply laying down in the gorse. I am sure they were not actually hiding from us. We will probably get a lot more time to look now as we do not want to be isolated in our flat and look forward to our looking walks.
Not sure what is happening with the wire fence around the outside of the site. Since our last visit 2 weeks ago the entrance at N13 has been blocked off and padlocked and a large steel gate has been installed. Are the army considering limiting access?

Saturday morning
Had to do a quick lap this morning but didn't spot the cows unfortunately. Water looked fine

All meeting at the trough for a drink at around 10am this morning. Trough working ok, and all looking good and wagging their tails at us lol. On our walk back, they (all 3 of them) were reaching up to get to higher branches, looked funny.
Called Guy to report that yesterday, contractors (for the army we assume) erected a large metal gate in O13 (Pyestock side) and removed the swing gate that was there. Not sure what their plans are for the other gates around the site...thought you should be aware though

Tree, gate fix and cattle spotting.
Spotted the 3 between K and L13 so thats where they got their lick, and they certainly tucked into that! All seemed fine, they're usual bouncy selves and in good health.
Next task, assess pine tree over chainlink fence:
Found that pretty easy, defo chainsaw job bit hoping I've managed to find a guy who is responsible for Heartland Village and Berkley Homes. Gave him location and he said he would sort so crossing fingers. Fence still stock proof.
Then it was the gate Debbie raised concerns about. Taken measurements for knackered posts and stuck in a couple chestnut intermediates to sure it up, that ain't going anywhere soon.

All found in the North East of the site. Looking well on another rainy day.
Licked dropped off between K5 and L5 in the heath about 10m off track. All looked well but one of the boys was mounting 005 so expect to see some possible patchiness around flanks and rear end.
