Emergency Procedure

If you need to report an emergency to us such as injured or escaped livestock or damaged infrastructure please follow this procedure:

Call the office on 01256 381190.
If no one answers, wait for the answering message which will detail the name and mobile number of the member of staff who is currently on call.
Phone the on-call member of staff who will then respond accordingly.

NOTES:

Please do not phone a member of staff directly unless you know they are on-call.

If you are unsure if a particular situation qualifies as an emergency then please phone the on-call member of staff anyway so that they can make the decision on how to proceed.

Most importantly of all – please do not report injuries or sick animals via the blog alone – always call the emergency on-call contact.

All found by the trough. Trough checked and OK. Everyone well.

Saw all 4 eating grass and/or holly at 3.30pm. All looked in good health. Trough almost full to the brim.

W3W: denim/megawatt/depth

Trough OK. All 4 tucked away in L8 early this morning lying cudding. Looking very fit and well.

All found and well. Looking a bit bothered by flies but looking really good condition otherwise, nice and chunky.

All 4 found lying in the sun near the trough. All looked good. Trough full and clear.

I think the new boy's tag is 10075. Is that Eagle?

Found the cattle early this morning in L13 lying cudding out of sight almost from most walkers. All very fit and well.

All 4 chewing the cud and lying down near the trough. All looked fine. A few bothersome flies about. Trough full.

11.00am W3W: nerve/slang/jumbo

All lying at the track junction in I7. They are in great condition.

All 4 cows fine and checked as part of weekly livestock checks. Gave them some nuts to keep them sweet too!

No finds this morning. Trough looks full.

Found the 4 looking very good and grazing alongside the main track in I9.
