Emergency Procedure

If you need to report an emergency to us such as injured or escaped livestock or damaged infrastructure please follow this procedure:

  1. Call the office on 01256 381190.
  2. If no one answers, wait for the answering message which will detail the name and mobile number of the member of staff who is currently on call.
  3. Phone the on-call member of staff who will then respond accordingly.

NOTES:

  • Please do not phone a member of staff directly unless you know they are on-call.

  • If you are unsure if a particular situation qualifies as an emergency then please phone the on-call member of staff anyway so that they can make the decision on how to proceed.

  • Most importantly of all – please do not report injuries or sick animals via the blog alone – always call the emergency on-call contact.

    Thank you!

    20th August

The cows were found at G4.   I had to go back in the evening on my bike as I couldn't find them in the morning I think they were hiding from me! probably tucked behind some bracken in the shade. Both looking good Bambi did have a very runny nose bless her the fluid was clear.

Spotted Bambi and Jerricho around 1400 around the K11 area.  Both looked happy and well.  The others not seen
Having seen the girls back on Thur & Fri which are not my lookering days, I started Saturday lookering today with not much success I'm afraid.  Spent an hour walking around their normal ground  & didn't see them at all. I even asked other walkers who hadn't seen them so I'm assuming they found some shelter as it was very hot. I was there between 9 - 10am.  Will check again later but if anyone has seen them today please feel free to comment. It doesn't help when the bracken is so high, you can't spot them standing up let alone laying down.

That's very strange...when I saw them yesterday I could have sworn it was Jericho (Belted Galloway) laying down next to Bambi, that was at 4:45pm !!

Bambi and Muesli have returned to Bramshot after the bracken spraying exclusion period.

All good but not seen 114 up

Two of them up and munching today, still haven’t seen 114 on her feet. She was repeatedly licking her front left leg and no amount of gentl...
