Whilst on site I could not resist checking the runs for early reptiles. All of the tins proved to be empty but I did get to see one adder, my first for the year!
Emergency Procedure
If you need to report an emergency to us such as injured or escaped livestock or damaged infrastructure please follow this procedure:
NOTES:
Thank you!
- Call the office on 01256 381190.
- If no one answers, wait for the answering message which will detail the name and mobile number of the member of staff who is currently on call.
- Phone the on-call member of staff who will then respond accordingly.
NOTES:
- Please do not phone a member of staff directly unless you know they are on-call.
- If you are unsure if a particular situation qualifies as an emergency then please phone the on-call member of staff anyway so that they can make the decision on how to proceed.
- Most importantly of all – please do not report injuries or sick animals via the blog alone – always call the emergency on-call contact.
Thank you!

Girls and adder looking good
I visited today to check the cattle which where all by the newly fallen pine. They all looked good and were very calm. There was no signs of moulting and all had ear tags.

Visit today at around Sunday 5pm, All 3 well.
Myself and Ellee found them all munching around the gorse bushes in I9/J9 at the fork in the path, they seem to like this triangle area between the paths and are about the same place as we found them last week. All look well however sometimes we can't or don't really fancy getting as deep into these thorny gorse as they certainly do :) But we got close enough anyway and no obvious issues were seen.

visited today at 4.40
Just started hailing and it stopped the cows from marching over to me today. To be honest I wish I never gave them apple those 2 days ages ago, I wish I hadn't given them false hope that I just may have food. X
