Emergency Procedure

If you need to report an emergency to us such as injured or escaped livestock or damaged infrastructure please follow this procedure:

Call the office on 01256 381190.
If no one answers, wait for the answering message which will detail the name and mobile number of the member of staff who is currently on call.
Phone the on-call member of staff who will then respond accordingly.

NOTES:

Please do not phone a member of staff directly unless you know they are on-call.

If you are unsure if a particular situation qualifies as an emergency then please phone the on-call member of staff anyway so that they can make the decision on how to proceed.

Most importantly of all – please do not report injuries or sick animals via the blog alone – always call the emergency on-call contact.

Found all three in M6 this morning, all on fine form as usual. I put a new lick out for them there too which they got stuck into right away.

Sorry, belated blog from last Friday 1st. All spotted, lick given, fence breech fixed.

Lick dropped off in Bracken around the G6 area. Herd looking well.

All three standing close together near the gate from the first carpark(along the railway line) looking very wet and grey faced ctonus is running up to me now ,trying to be masterful but loves a smile x

Today at 6pm

All four spread out around the left side of the heath field,as I'm writing this 3 off them have come right up to me to sniff me,i think they have missed me. They look so big and wooly and healthy,often after a long winter the cows are skinny ,these guys look amazing. They a&e now back munching away on horse flowers a grass.

At 1445 hrs all lying very contentedly on a patch of bracken - almost on top of one another - surrounded by gorse in K7. They look very well indeed.
