Emergency Procedure

If you need to report an emergency to us such as injured or escaped livestock or damaged infrastructure please follow this procedure:

Call the office on 01256 381190.
If no one answers, wait for the answering message which will detail the name and mobile number of the member of staff who is currently on call.
Phone the on-call member of staff who will then respond accordingly.

NOTES:

Please do not phone a member of staff directly unless you know they are on-call.

If you are unsure if a particular situation qualifies as an emergency then please phone the on-call member of staff anyway so that they can make the decision on how to proceed.

Most importantly of all – please do not report injuries or sick animals via the blog alone – always call the emergency on-call contact.

The girls are all happily grazing in the center of the heath field, where they seem to be spending a lot of their day time these days. All good. X

At 1245 hrs today the girls were emerging, line astern, from the woods onto the main track in I8. All fit and well. Rosemary cudding, Lola licking her nose and Kit Kat browsing gorse and bramble.

Went walking today at 3.00 found girls around M5/L5. Rosemary eating gorse. All looked well.
3 visits today - that really is spoiling them!

Today at 2.30

All grazing central heath field. All seems well, 172 came straight over to me and licked my hand a few times before having a kibble of my finger nail, she can't be that hungry yet 😂😂

I think your right, staining almost certainly coming from trees and lichen. Looking very healthy!

All the in and around the trees in front of the main gate, all eating low brambles. I think the brown staining on them might be were they are rubbing against wet trees or moss. Not sure at all though. All seems fine.
