Emergency Procedure

If you need to report an emergency to us such as injured or escaped livestock or damaged infrastructure please follow this procedure:

  1. Call the office on 01256 381190.
  2. If no one answers, wait for the answering message which will detail the name and mobile number of the member of staff who is currently on call.
  3. Phone the on-call member of staff who will then respond accordingly.

NOTES:

  • Please do not phone a member of staff directly unless you know they are on-call.

  • If you are unsure if a particular situation qualifies as an emergency then please phone the on-call member of staff anyway so that they can make the decision on how to proceed.

  • Most importantly of all – please do not report injuries or sick animals via the blog alone – always call the emergency on-call contact.

    Thank you!

    Wednesday, 28 December 2016

    All seen today.

Checked in on the three girls today and they were looking really good. Two of them enjoying the post fog sunshine while the other was tucking into some gorse.

Cleared the ice off the trough too.

    Tuesday, 27 December 2016

Looked today at 2.30. Found all 3 grazing in gorse and old bracken in H8. They look fit, moving through bushes OK. Checked trough, thin broken ice - not a problem, level looks OK now.

    Monday, 26 December 2016

The ladies were hiding and browsing in the thick gorse in M12 at 1245 hrs today.  All fit, fat and well.

    Friday, 23 December 2016

    Today at 7.50

All three, with shiny orange eyes in the torch light, hanging around in the Laurel bushes near the main gate from the car park. X

    All good near trough

I found the there ladies near to the trough, clearly having recently had a drink as the trough was re-filling in the background.

With their pre-xmas check they were all looking really well and rather rotund if I must be honest which is a great sign.

With the xmas holidays now being upon us please call our office number on 01256 381190 should you find any problems.  A member of staff is on call every day of the festive season and the number on the answer machine will be changed accordingly.

    Merry Christmas once more
