All fine Wednesday

All 3 grazing on heather out in the middle of the heath around late lunch time - all looked well.

I left a lick for them and checked the trough which some kind person had already broken the ice for them.

An easy find today.  All in H6 at 1000 hrs taking heather and small firs close to the remains of a fire.. All fit and well.

Looked at 3.30 found all three grazing in C5. Clearing work has been going on here with remains of shrub clearance fire still smouldering. Cows quite relaxed grazing on heather and low gorse. Checked trough - thin ice removed otherwise working OK.

At 0945 hrs all 3 were in K7.  The boys grazing dead-looking grass and Teasel taking heather.  All fit and well.  Looks like the NEWTS on a task in the area this morning too.

Had a quick look this afternoon, very cold and slight snow on the ground . Found all 4 in the open area L4. looking a bit grubby but grazing OK. Does'nt seem much left to graze on but they were chumping away on dry grass and heather. Checked trough - working OK

Monday 14th

On Monday afternoon I popped into site and dropped off a lick for the cows. 

They were in the middle of the first block of heath and as I was driving up the track on the far side I saw them.

I put the lick in a shallow depression off of the track somewhat to stop it moving around to much.

All looked fine.

All spotted accross the track in the heather from K10

Dropped off lick in bracken just behind the 6 pine in K10.

Clever Clogs appears the thinnest of the 3 and was the most audiable (as usual) 😉 All looking well aside from that, tis the time of year, we're all getting a lil thinner in Winter, right?

Left them tucking into lick. Trough good.
