Emergency Procedure

If you need to report an emergency to us such as injured or escaped livestock or damaged infrastructure please follow this procedure:

  1. Call the office on 01256 381190.
  2. If no one answers, wait for the answering message which will detail the name and mobile number of the member of staff who is currently on call.
  3. Phone the on-call member of staff who will then respond accordingly.

NOTES:

  • Please do not phone a member of staff directly unless you know they are on-call.

  • If you are unsure if a particular situation qualifies as an emergency then please phone the on-call member of staff anyway so that they can make the decision on how to proceed.

  • Most importantly of all – please do not report injuries or sick animals via the blog alone – always call the emergency on-call contact.

    Thank you!

kitkat seemed a little upset not quite sure why she seemed to want us to go away and on our approach i could see her running at the others, strange really because shes usually the calm one. Any way they were all in j/k 5,otherwise all seemed well. There has been and oil spill [some lovely person dumped oil butts and it all spilled out into th puddles ] in the carpark that was being treated as we left yesterday, lets hope it has no adverse effect on out girls.

    1. I spoke to a dog walker about that oil spil, bad news. He reported it in and was told the Environment Agency and MOD would be involved. Its in hand anyway.
As for strange behaviours, I found all 3 in a corner of the woodland and when I approached there was certainly some bulling (mounting) going on. But other than that, all good. Have let Jack know about the bulling for info.
