Lovely day for a stroll around the reserve where found the threesome by northerly gate entrance to the field (about D6). All seemed ok, but we noticed Kitkat had a small scratch on her lower neck, fairly minor although small spot of blood visible on the fur, seems pretty small and not significant to worry about. However, we soon realised how she picked this up, seems like she's developed a liking for the grass or receding bluebells the otherside of the barbed wire fence. We snapped a shot of her "red handed" in the act - see below, so we suspect she's scratched herself doing this. She also had some slight yellow patch below her eye, we thought it might be pollen or dirt but just mention it here in case it means anything, also see picture below. Apart from these minor things all seem well with them all. Mike and Ellee.
Emergency Procedure
If you need to report an emergency to us such as injured or escaped livestock or damaged infrastructure please follow this procedure:
NOTES:
Thank you!
- Call the office on 01256 381190.
- If no one answers, wait for the answering message which will detail the name and mobile number of the member of staff who is currently on call.
- Phone the on-call member of staff who will then respond accordingly.
NOTES:
- Please do not phone a member of staff directly unless you know they are on-call.
- If you are unsure if a particular situation qualifies as an emergency then please phone the on-call member of staff anyway so that they can make the decision on how to proceed.
- Most importantly of all – please do not report injuries or sick animals via the blog alone – always call the emergency on-call contact.
Thank you!
